PHILADELPHIA, PA (October 31, 2011) – Philadelphia Business Journal announced today that Lynn Doyle, host &
executive producer, “It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle” has been honored as a 2011 Women of Distinction award
recipient. The region’s most dynamic women will be recognized on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:
30pm at the Sheraton Downtown Philadelphia Hotel, 17th & Race Streets.
“It is an honor to be recognized by Philadelphia’s premiere business magazine and included amongst the
prestigious women honorees pioneering professional and charitable endeavors across all platforms,” said Doyle
about receiving this prestigious award. “I am grateful to leverage ‘It’s Your Call’ to achieve my mission to confront
the issues that matter most in our lives and constantly give back to the local communities and organizations
seeking to improve our nation.”
Presented by Wells Fargo, the event will gather over 500 of the region’s newsmakers for networking and an
inspiring awards ceremony. Winners will be profiled in a special section of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s
November 25th issue. A day of event raffle will benefit the National Association of Women Business Owners
(NAWBO). Program is co-sponsored by Ernst & Young LLP.

The second annual Keep the Light Shining Holiday Cocktail Party to benefit the Mommy’s Light Lives On
Fund® was held at Vintage Thoroughbred Farm, the home of Diane and David Charlton, in Pottstown on
December 15, 2010. Nearly $20,000 was raised to help fund cherished traditions for children and teens
whose mothers are terminally ill or have died. During the event, guests heard from Downingtown's Jennifer
McKenna, 17, one of the children who is served by Mommy’s Light. A silent auction featured fabulous
prizes such as a week at a French chateau, a baseball autographed by Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins, an
outing at the Merion Golf Club, and copy of God Bless the Spectrum signed by Bobby Clarke.
