On Saturday, March 7, the National Kidney Foundation serving the Delaware Valley hosted its 25th Annual Kidney Ball on Saturday, March 7 at
The Park Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia. The major fundraising event helped raise more than $300,000 for the Foundation and its mission.
More than 475 guests attended the event which featured a cocktail hour, silent auction, an award ceremony, dinner, dancing and a live auction.
Lynn Doyle of Comcast Network’s It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle served as the event emcee and helped auction off big ticket live auction items
throughout the evening. The Foundation honored Dr. Edward R. Jones, Physician Honoree and Dr. Shuin-Lin Yang, Patient Honoree, for their
unwavering commitment to fighting kidney disease and helping to fulfill the mission of the National Kidney Foundation serving the Delaware Valley.
The Foundation also honored Fresenius Medical Care North America, operator of the nation’s leading network of dialysis facilities, for their
continued support of Foundation’s patient programs and services.
The National Kidney Foundation serving the Delaware Valley Inc., a major voluntary health organization, seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract
diseases, improves the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increases the availability of all organs for
